Best used on pork, chicken, or seafood. Make it in advance and whip it out for intense flavour and an antioxidant boost when you need it.
Ingredients: 2 cups ketchup 2 cups brown sugar 1 cup apple cider vinegar 1/3 cup Haskap juice 1 shallot, minced 1 tbsp liquid smoke 1 tbsp onion powder 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp salt and pepper 1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and whisk rapidly until well blended. 2. Chill for 30 minutes to thicken and bind. That's it! It is best used on pork, chicken, or seafood. I grilled a smoked pork chop from a local meat market. It candied the pork chop perfectly.
