Refreshing, savoury haskap salsa – ooh la la! This salsa marries the tanginess of haskap, the sweetness of apples, and a zing of ginger. Use it on everything from chips to chicken!

Ingredients:
250 ml jar Haskap Highland Orchards Haskap Preserve
2 granny smith apples, diced
1 tbsp lime juice
3 green onions chopped
1 tbsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
Instructions:
1. Blend and soak the diced apple in lime juice for 5 minutes in a medium-sized bowl with a lid.
2. Add green onions, ginger, and salt. Gently stir in Haskap Hot Pepper Preserve.
3. Store covered for 2 – 24 hours in refrigerator to set flavours.
4. Gently mix in coarsely chopped cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips.
