Haskap Berry Salsa

Refreshing, savory haskap salsa – ooh la la!

  • 250 ml jar Haskap Highland Orchards Haskap Preserve
  • 2 granny smith apples, diced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro


  • In a medium sized bowl with a lid, blend and soak the diced apple in lime juice for 5 minutes.
  • Add green onions, ginger, and salt. Gently stir in Haskap Hot Pepper Preserve.
  • Store covered for 2 – 24 hours in refrigerator to set flavours.
  • Gently mix in coarsely chopped cilantro.  Serve with tortilla chips.
