Haskap Berry Salsa
Refreshing, savory haskap salsa – ooh la la!
- 250 ml jar Haskap Highland Orchards™ Haskap Hot Pepper Preserve
- 2 granny smith apples, diced
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 3 green onions chopped
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- In a medium sized bowl with a lid, blend and soak the diced apple in lime juice for 5 minutes.
- Add green onions, ginger, and salt. Gently stir in Haskap Hot Pepper Preserve.
- Store covered for 2 – 24 hours in refrigerator to set flavours.
- Gently mix in coarsely chopped cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips.
